Karmansbo Herrgård 
Amid beautiful and natural surroundings in a magical part of Sweden called Bergslagen, is the 18th century manor Karmansbo Herrgård, which today offers updated modern amenities and excellent food.
Each room has quality beds made by the famous Swedish bedmaker Hästens, TV and wireless internet. Guests also have free access to the sauna house at the lake and to the beach, rowing boats and canoes.
The restaurant at Karmansbo Herrgård is famous for its rustic delicacies derived from local producers.
Bergslagen is a fantastic destination where guests can take advantage of numerous art galleries, ideal conditions for canoeing and a magnificent stretch of wild natural surroundings.
The nearby lit trail is perfect for long relaxing walks and golf and horseback riding is also on offer. Karmansbo Herrgård can also arrange for horses to be provided for moose or wolf safaris and even organised hunts.

Close by there are various different historic places to visit. We can also arrange a visit to the Karmansbo forge. Here it is possible to view how ironware was manufactured more than one hundred years ago using the Lancashire method that was exported to Sweden from Sheffield, England.
